It's safe to Blog now...

Hello lovely people
I havnt blogged for a while because I couldn't. See, I promised my parents that when I Was going to do something really fun (though they seemed more incline to call stupid and dangerous) that I wouldn't tell them, hence my absence....

Monday I went Skydiving! This was absolutely amazing, words cannot describe how much fun this was! Falling from 14,000 ft, overlooking rainforest and ocean-reef with crystal clear water that you could see to the bottom, I had 60 seconds of free fall! I did it in a place called Mission Beach, which was basically a little town by a very long, beautiful beach.
We were all given a 3 minute safety brief-half of which concerned the seatbelt on the plane! I couldn't believe how little safety talk there was!
My dive instructor was Klem, an eccentric Italian who was great fun and kept me calm, not that I was too nervous....until the door opened on the plane....
After a 20 min ascent, this was the first time I got nervous - and why not? I was 14,000ft in the air with the door wide open! Within 30 seconds all 6 of us were in the air, there's no time to be nervous or scared - and oh, what a feeling!
I've never experienced a thrill like it, and what a view I had up there! After 60 secs the chute went up, and I was allowed to steer us for a while, whilst looking down at rainforest and ocean, spotting fish and turtles! I'll put photos and the video up as soon as i can, though photos are up on FB.

Tuesday I did a Bungee! Now this was the scariest thing I've ever done - chucking myself off a platform 50m in the air attached to a big rubber band! In The video you can tell I look scared, but that's nothing compared to what I felt falling - until that cord kicks in, and you're in freefall, it's sheer panic. As soon as it does, it's lovely and I loved it. Again it's all ok FB, Video too, though I'll put photos on here.
I loved both, but would do the skydive over a bungee...but then I'd do both again :p (sorry dad).
